Richard J Bosner produced the politically-charged true story Fruitvale Station starring Octavia Spencer and Michael B. Jordan which received the 2013 Sundance Film Festival U.S. Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award. Bosner also produced Nick Sandow’s The Wannabe starring Patricia Arquette, with Executive Producers, Dean Devlin and Martin Scorsese. In the summer of 2015 he executive produced Other People starring Molly Shannon and Jesse Plemons which was the opening night film at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Bosner’s most recent feature, Mapplethorpe, starring Matt Smith, premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival and was released by Samuel Goldwyn Films. He is currently in post-production on Lawrence Michael Levine’s dramatic feature, Black Bear, starring Aubrey Plaza and in pre-production on Leon Hendrix’s thriller White Devils. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Directors Guild of America.
