At 18, Los Angeles native Xolo Maridueña has already made quite a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He can currently be seen in the lead role of Miguel Diaz in the hit and critically-acclaimed Karate Kid sequel series Cobra Kai alongside original cast members Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. The second season is streaming now on YouTube Premium and the show has been renewed for a highly-anticipated third season. Maridueña is also known for his breakout role as Victor on NBC’s Parenthood, a character he portrayed for three seasons. His performance earned him an Imagen Award nomination, recognition for “channeling Latino talent” at the ALMA Awards, and a spot on Latina Magazine’s “50 Brightest Stars Under 25” list. Outside of acting, he is a passionate philanthropist who advocates for foster youth, homeless families, and immigration rights by working with organizations who champion those causes.
