Alberto Peralta

Born in El Centro, California but raised in the border town of Mexicali, Baja California. Peralta graduated from Law School in 2006 (Tec de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey), and then finished his Masters in Corporate Law in 2010. After practicing law for 9 years, Peralta switched careers in November 2013 when he was hired as a Production Assistant at ESPN Mexico City. During his first year at ESPN, Peralta was part of the “SportsCenter en Español” production team that won the first Sports Emmy awarded to a Sports Studio Show in Spanish. By the end of 2014, he was promoted to SportsCenter Producer and in 2015 took home again the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Studio Show in Spanish. Given his bicultural background, in July 2018 Peralta was transferred to the ESPN Production Center in Los Angeles where he has worked in multiple studio shows like Sports Nation, A Los Golpes, Now or Never, Ahora o Nunca and Futbol Americas. Today, he leads a team of 15 bilingual people dedicated to serving two different sports markets, in two different languages through two different platforms (linear and streaming).
