Blanca Gonzalez is an industry trailblazer who brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in Merchandising, Brand, and General Management. She started her career at the age of 19, working across various corporate roles in the fashion and retail industry. In 2002, she was hired by Nike, Inc. in Los Angeles as a key member of their Entertainment Marketing team. Leading Nike’s iconic “BLU House” energy center, Blanca playing an instrumental role in forging relationships with top influencers and communities from LA and across the globe on behalf of the brand.
During her tenure at Nike, she served in leadership roles across various Geographies, and in her capacity as Global Women’s Merchandising, she was responsible for leading the Nike Sportwear strategies across the globe. A career and personal highlight for Blanca was when she fulfilled her dream of tapping into her Mexican culture and heritage by assuming the position of GM of Sportswear and Action Sports for Nike de Mexico. Later, in 2015 she was elevated to lead as the VP/GM of the Nike LA/West Territory. A loyal Angeleno at heart, Blanca has always maintained a passion for LA (the “City of Athletes”). Through this role, she cultivated a best-in-class workplace culture, developed teams, mentored women, championed diversity, embraced community, and advocated for children of all abilities.
In February, she accepted a new opportunity as Senior Vice President, Global Merchandising at Lululemon. As she embarks on this new chapter, she is energized and inspired to help lead a brand that is working to elevate the world by realizing the full potential within every one of us. With Lululemon, she is looking to harness her own purpose-driven approach to work by amplifying and celebrating all voices.
Today, Blanca’s relentless drive and unwavering values continue to fuel her two careers: Serving as a leader at Lululemon and being a mother of three beautiful children.
