Jaime Martínez-Negrete

 Biography 

Jaime is responsible for leading Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking efforts in Latin America. In addition, he is the Head of Morgan Stanley’s operations in Mexico, which includes a full Broker Dealer, Investment Banking and Capital Markets. In this capacity, Jaime is the Chairman of Morgan Stanley Mexico, Casa de Bolsa, S.A. de C.V. 

Education 

Jaime earned a BA in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Panamericana in 1994 and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1998 

Banking Experience 

Jaime joined Morgan Stanley in August of 2008 as Managing Director and Co-Head of Investment Banking in Mexico. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked ten years at Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Jaime has covered Mexican corporations and the Mexican Government for almost two decades and his experience includes M&A, privatizations, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, restructurings and risk management
