INVESTING IN LATINO FOUNDERS,
THE FUEL OF US ECONOMIC GROWTH
Match-Up at L’ATTITUDE
what is match-up at L’attitude?
In 2019, Sol Trujillo, Gary Acosta, and Kennie Blanco, with investments from Marc Benioff of Salesforce and Oscar Munoz of United Airlines, created L’ATTITUDE VENTURES (“LAT VC”) to directly address a troubling economic cost to our country: the underfunding of US Latino entrepreneurs.
Led by LAT VC, Match-up is a national competition hosted at L’ATTITUDE where early-stage US Latino entrepreneurs are matched with sizable capital from long-term investors.
To compete, US Latino entrepreneurs must have significant ownership, be in the Seed to Series A stage, and actively seeking at least $250,000 of equity capital.
Judges, including LAT VC, evaluate and challenge competitors with precise and consequential questions in front of a national audience.
In addition to investments from LAT VC of $200,000 to $1,500,000, guest judges deploy at least $250,000, each, at the competition.
This high-stakes and fast-paced competition brings out the best of each entrepreneur and offers long-lasting visibility.
The volume and size of investments through Match-Up widen the pipeline of Latino entrepreneurs and will attract more investors and more capital every year.
This year, for Match-Up 2021, LAT VC expects to deploy $10,000,000 to $12,500,000.
