When L’ATTITUDE surveyed its event attendees in October this year, 44% said they believe the economy will improve next year, while 81% believe their own personal financial opportunities will improve. The latest economic numbers appear to validate their optimism.

Nearly one-third of the attendees at L’ATTITUDE 2021 last month said they own their own business. Of those, 57% are employer businesses and 43% are owner-operated. In a survey of attendees conducted by L’ATTITUDE, these business owners were asked which business goals are most important to them.

The Latino Donor Collaborative 2021 U.S. Latino GDP Report shows that the U.S. Latino GDP has grown to $2.7 trillion, which makes this the 7th largest economy in the world if it were an independent country. U.S. Latino GDP has now surpassed the GDPs of Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and Italy, and is now tied with France as the 7th largest GDP in the world.

The devastating Texas storm hit families of all races and ethnicities. Even in affluent neighborhoods, power was knocked out causing crisis conditions for families across the state. However, families in lower income areas often don’t have a car or the funds to hunt for groceries, aren’t able to make quick repairs to pipes that have burst, or have access to alternative support systems.
Ken Salazar nominated as Ambassador to Mexico
President Biden has nominated Colorado Democratic icon, Ken Salazar, as America’s Ambassador to Mexico. Salazar has described himself as a “12th generation son of the Southwest” and is an alum of L’ATTITUDE as one of the leading participants in L’ATTITUDE’S inaugural year, 2018.
